As of 2024, Mexican citizens now require an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to enter the United Kingdom, even for short visits like attending a wedding.

 

What is the ETA?
The ETA is a new entry requirement for visa-exempt nationals. It is quick, fully online, and easy to apply for.

All Mexican passport holders must apply for an ETA before traveling to the UK.​

How much does it cost?
It costs approximately £10 GBP (around $220 MXN). Payment is made during the online application.

How long does it take?
Most applications are processed within 3 business days, but we recommend applying at least one week before your trip.
