OUR LOVE STORY
We met at a time when the world felt paused — a period of uncertainty and distance, when life as we knew it had slowed to a quiet stillness. Yet, even in that stillness, something extraordinary happened. Two hearts, separated by oceans, found their way to one another.
What began as a simple friendship soon blossomed into something far deeper — a love that brought light to even the darkest days. As we got to know each other from afar, we discovered not only the beauty of our differences but also the harmony of our shared values. We explored each other’s cultures, exchanged stories, laughter, and dreams, and in doing so, found joy and comfort when the world felt most isolated.
After many months of waiting, we took a leap of faith. Having never met in person, I flew to see Monse — and from the moment I arrived, I was embraced by her warmth, her family’s kindness, and the vibrant charm of Mérida. It was there that I fell not only for her smile and spirit, but for the life and love she surrounded herself with.
Since then, we have celebrated milestones, weathered challenges, and built a life filled with meaning and memories. Together, we’ve laughed, cried, created new traditions, and carried forward those that shaped us. Through every chapter, Monse has been my strength — with her compassion, intelligence, courage, and boundless love.
After nearly five wonderful years together, I asked Monse to marry me — with the blessing of her mother and family — knowing without a doubt that she is the person I want to spend forever with.
Now, as we look ahead to June 27th, 2026, we feel immense joy and gratitude. It will be the day our two families and cultures come together to celebrate the love that grew between us — a love built on trust, laughter, patience, and devotion.
We cannot wait to begin this next chapter of our story, hand in hand, surrounded by the people who mean the most to us.
